What Final Four player has the nickname 'Icebox'?
Duke University super sophomore Iciss Tillis is the woman sometimes called "Icebox" by her teammates. Playing in the shadows of Alana Beard, Tillis is awesome in her own right, having averaged 14.3 points per game this year and eight rebounds, as well as totaling 30 blocked shots.
Tillis ended the year by being selected a Kodak District II All-American and received first team All-ACC as well as ACC All-Defensive team honors. The sophomore has become one of the most versatile players in the nation with her outstanding 3-point ability, post-up moves and defensive presence. She recorded double-figures scoring in 27 of her 34 games played.
In high school, she led Cascia Hall Prep in Tulsa, Okla. to the 3A state title in her junior year. She was a WBCA All-American her senior year.
