    Sophomore forward Hanna Biernacka (Sodertalje, Sweden) participated in the 2002 FIBA European Championships for Junior Women as a member of the Swedish team. She also played for the Swedish National team in the 1999 European Championship for Cadettes. Biernacka started 27 games last year for LSU as a freshman, and scored in double figures in six contests. She had 13 points in the opening game of the NCAA Tournament against Austin Peay, as the Tigers worked their way into the Final Four.
